Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced data architect to lead the development and deployment of cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will oversee technical project direction, mentor team members, and deliver scalable systems using cloud and big data technologies.

  • Design, develop, and deploy reliable data processing systems in a cloud environment.
  • Architect and implement big data pipelines using Apache Spark and cloud-native services.
  • Develop serverless applications and integrate them with cloud services for efficient solutions.
  • Use container orchestration tools like Amazon EKS or equivalent to manage microservices-based applications.
  • Implement workflow orchestration solutions like Apache Airflow for managing complex data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure smooth integration across services.
  • Mentor development teams on Java best practices, cloud architecture, and data engineering principles.
  • Monitor and optimize solution performance and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.

Key Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Proficiency in Apache Spark for distributed data processing.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services like EMR, Lambda, EKS, Airflow, or their equivalents.
  • Solid understanding of serverless architectures and microservices design.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team mentoring experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
