Job Title: Guidewire Developer

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer to join our team at SourceBae. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire product suite development, integration, configuration, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Guidewire solutions including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
  • Customize and configure Guidewire modules based on client requirements.
  • Work closely with business analysts and technical teams to ensure comprehensive understanding of business requirements and delivery of appropriate solutions.
  • Integrate Guidewire with third-party systems and ensure smooth data migration and system interoperability.
  • Develop Gosu scripts for business logic implementations within the Guidewire suite.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Guidewire application performance, configuration, and customizations.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to define and execute comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest Guidewire product updates and best practices.
  • Document technical solutions and maintain system documentation as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Guidewire development, with hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
  • Proficiency in Gosu programming language and ability to write complex scripts.
  • Experience with Guidewire DataHub and InfoCenter is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Guidewire InsuranceSuite integration and configuration.
  • Familiarity with insurance industry standards, workflows, and regulations.
  • Experience in web services development and API integration (REST, SOAP)
  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, XML, JSON, and web technologies.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
