Advanced AI Specialist Job Description

This position requires a skilled professional with expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning to design, train, and deploy custom OCR models using cloud-based services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in automating document classification, data extraction from various formats (PDFs, scanned images, invoices, etc.), and integrating OCR workflows with translation APIs for multilingual document processing.

In addition, the specialist will utilize cloud-based platforms to build GenAI-powered solutions for semantic understanding and summarization of documents, apply image-based document analysis and identity verification, and develop scalable pipelines for OCR output post-processing (JSON/CSV formats).

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions, ensuring compliance with data privacy, security standards, and cloud governance policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 8 years of experience in OCR technologies and intelligent document processing.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based AI services, machine learning frameworks, and GenAI platforms.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or .NET.
  • Experience with cloud-based document recognition services, such as Azure Form Recognizer and AWS Textract.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services, including EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, and Step Functions.
  • Knowledge of document layout analysis (tables, forms, key-value pairs).
  • Experience with NLP tools and translation APIs.
  • Understanding of GenAI model training, fine-tuning, and deployment strategies.
  • Exposure to complex applications and architectures.
  • Comfortable working in Agile projects.
  • Clear and precise communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to details.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
