Job Title: Neurosurgeon

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurosurgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurosurgery, with expertise in performing complex procedures and managing complex cases involving cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures
• Manage complex cases involving cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve surgery
• Diagnose and treat patients with neurological and spine disorders
• Provide expert care in trauma neurosurgery and spine surgery
• Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions with Neurology, Orthopaedics, Critical Care, and Oncology teams
• Contribute to clinical teaching, research, and hospital academic programs

Requirements:

• MBBS from a recognized medical college (mandatory)
• MS (General Surgery) followed by MCh (Neurosurgery) or equivalent DNB (Neurosurgery) qualification from an NMC-recognized institute (mandatory)
• Strong expertise in neurosurgery and spine surgery
• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders
• Excellent surgical skills with the ability to perform complex neurosurgical procedures independently
• Strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure tertiary care hospital settings
• Additional fellowship training in spine or skull-base surgery (preferred, not mandatory)
