Job Title: Finance Operations Specialist

Job Description:

Amazon seeks a highly skilled finance operations professional to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving complex vendor queries, payment issues and other financial matters. They will work closely with internal teams to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Problem-solving skills: The ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions is essential.
  • Financial acumen: A strong understanding of financial systems and processes is required.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Time management: The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively is crucial in this role.

Basic qualifications include 3-5 years of experience in finance operations, accounting or accounts payable. Outstanding attention to detail, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills are also essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Excel skills: Proficiency in using advanced Excel features such as pivot tables, macros and data analysis tools is preferred.
  • Oracle Financial Application (OFA) experience: Knowledge of OFA is advantageous but not essential.
  • 6 Sigma Methodologies: Experience in lean projects and knowledge of 6 sigma methodologies is desired.

A Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is required. A Master's degree is desirable.
