AI/ML Model Developer - NLP Focus

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented AI/NLP expert to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for cutting-edge AI applications and experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, fine-tuning, deploying, and optimizing AI models for real-world applications. This includes:

  • Model Development & Fine-tuning: Customizing, fine-tuning, and optimizing state-of-the-art NLP models such as Transformer-based, Conformer-based, and VITS.
  • Generative AI & Prompt Engineering: Designing effective prompts tailored to user and business needs, and building similarity models for LLM-based Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Model Deployment & Optimization: Deploying models at scale using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, and optimizing performance using vLLM, quantization, and adapter-based tuning.
  • Performance Monitoring & Pipeline Development: Evaluating and enhancing model performance, and building robust ML pipelines using tools like Airflow and AWS Batch.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate NLP models into production systems.

Requirements:

- 6+ years of experience in NLP/ML with deep expertise in fine-tuning and transfer learning.

- Strong knowledge of NLP Specialization, including ASR, TTS, or custom LLM architectures.

- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, NLTK, SpaCy, Gensim, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

Bonus Requirements:

- Cloud & MLOps: Experience in managing and scaling large AI deployments in production.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience working with large datasets and building robust preprocessing pipelines.
