Job Description:

The Associate Software Quality Assurance Analyst role is an exciting opportunity for you to embark on your journey in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. As part of the quality assurance team, you will execute planned test cases, report bugs, and assist in routine QA activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test cases based on software requirements.
  • Provide input on improving test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Execute and analyze automated test results, logging defects as necessary.
  • Maintain a strong technical aptitude, identifying, analyzing, and solving problems.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Understand different phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle.
  • Have a good understanding of RDBMS concepts.
  • Technical Skills: Require programming skills to write computer code and scripts in common computer languages, such as Javascript, Python.
  • Experience working with C#, Visual Studio, and MS Azure DevOps would be a plus.
  • Good understanding of database operations and SQL queries. Should be able to write complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Views, etc., to interact with databases.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team.
  • Enthusiastic, keen learner, and readiness to work in culturally diverse environments.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • C#, REST Services, WebAPI automation, Selenium.
  • Visual Studio, Azure DevOps in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge in Agile Methodologies/Scrum, Test Driven Development (TDD) & Unit Testing.
  • Test Automation Frameworks: Knowledgeable in frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
  • Defect Management: Effective use of bug tracking and management tools (e.g. Azure Devops, JIRA).
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Continuous Integration tools - Jenkins, Bit bucket, Github.
  • Time Management: Ability to complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively within a team setup.
