Job Description:

The role of Technical Lead involves overseeing the design, development, and deployment of Large Language Model (LLM) models and General Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) applications.

This position requires a strong foundational knowledge in traditional machine learning and deep neural networks. The ideal candidate will leverage Azure AI services, including Cognitive search, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure OpenAI, to build and deploy AI/Gen AI applications.

A key responsibility of this role is to demonstrate strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning/LLM/Gen AI libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Langchain, and NLP tools like SpaCy and NLTK.

Additional requirements include hands-on experience with LlamaIndex, LangChain, or equivalent frameworks, as well as rich experience in designing, developing, and deploying advanced RetrievalAugmented Generation (RAG) based Gen AI solutions.

Strong understanding of LLMs, vector databases (like Chroma, Pinecone, Azure Cognitive Search), and embedding techniques are also essential for success in this position.

Evaluation and implementation of different embedding models (Azure OpenAI, Cohere, etc.) and chunking strategies (fixed size, overlap-based, etc.) are additional responsibilities of the Technical Lead.

This role also involves designing and implementing agentic AI systems that can autonomously perform tasks, make decisions, and interact with other systems or users effectively.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience in applying advanced fine-tuning methods such as Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA), Quantized LoRA (QLoRA), and Pattern-Exploiting Training (PET) to optimize open-source models for specific tasks.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, or similar is also required.

Collaboration with data engineers to ensure efficient data collection, preprocessing, and management for AI applications is an essential aspect of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Total Experience 13-15 years; Gen AI Experience – 5 + years.
  • Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology.
