Job Role:

The Finance Operations Intern will act as a co-pilot to the founder, managing core finance operations, ensuring financial discipline, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

You'll take ownership of everything from bookkeeping to forecasting while also shadowing the founder on growth, business strategy, and investor-related matters.

This is not a typical internship. If you thrive in ambiguity, love numbers, and want to help build a startup from the ground up, this is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end bookkeeping, bills tracking, and invoice management
  • Filings and statutory compliances
  • Cash flow management and cost optimization tracking
  • Financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling
  • Expense reporting, reconciliations, and building scalable financial systems
  • Shadow the founder in high-level meetings, fundraising conversations, and strategy discussions
  • Support in market analysis, pricing strategy, and business growth initiatives
  • Create board-level decks, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models and dashboards
  • Analyze KPIs, cost structures, and growth levers using Google Sheets/Excel and Power BI (or similar tools)

Requirements:

  • CA Inter/CS/MBA Finance or equivalent qualifications
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on expertise in bookkeeping, compliance, and forecasting
  • Advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools is a strong advantage
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable with early-stage startup chaos
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to learn and grow rapidly
