Job Summary

United Airlines is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing quality engineering-related services to the application development and business teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in daily scrum calls and review business and system requirements
  • Author and execute both manual and automated tests, logging defects in the Quality Management tools
  • Triangulate defects with impacted stakeholders and resolve test environment-related issues
  • Support production cutover validation efforts on release nights
  • Perform functional, automation, integration, and performance requirement analysis
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • University graduate
  • Programming/scripting skills
  • Software Test Life Cycle/Agile & Waterfall Methodologies
  • Energetic and eager to learn
  • Ability to work under time constraints
  • Strong written/oral communication skills, data-focused, able to work in a team environment
