Cloud Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our Virtualization Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing next-generation virtualization and service offerings, with expertise in cloud computing, network architecture, and software development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing new features and integrations with Azure cloud and other public and private clouds
  • Developing core networking improvements in pure software environments, including virtual machines and container form factors

The successful candidate will participate in all phases of the product development cycle, from definition and design to implementation, testing, and support. We value ongoing learning and respect each employee as a unique individual.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of related programming experience, preferably with a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military experience
  • Expert C programming skills and strong scripting skills with bash and Python
  • Familiarity with Linux kernel networking stack, packet forwarding, tunneling protocols, and hypervisor technologies
  • Experience with deployment on cloud environments, such as Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • In-depth knowledge of selected network security fields, including stateful firewalls, packet processing, and TCP stream inspection
