Quality Assurance Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist who is dedicated to delivering high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate is organized, methodical, and has the experience necessary to take projects to the next level in terms of accuracy and customer-centricity.
  • Plan, execute, and perform inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing deliverables to confirm quality conformance to specifications.
  • Suggest solutions to identified deliverable problems.
  • Assist operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels to meet goals/KPIs.
  • Analyze and investigate reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with our guidelines and customer requirements.
  • Investigate product quality to make improvements and achieve better customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the production team to achieve better results.
  • Develop or update inspection procedures to ensure trend alignment and proper documentation and tracking of issues.
  • Monitor risk-management procedures and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and discuss mitigations with the production team.
  • Interpret and comply with company quality assurance standards.
  • Collect quality data by maintaining issues and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions.
  • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits.
  • Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management.
  • Oversee continuous improvement projects to develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all services offered to the customer.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

  • 3+ year experience in promotions content/e-learning/publishing house content domain or related domains.
  • Comfortable reviewing content in non-English languages.
  • Superb computer competence, including MS Office.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices, and defect management practice.
  • A sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on the company's success.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and QA functions within it.
  • Professional certification in Quality Assurance.
  • Knowledge of Content Quality Assurance Automation.

Additional Information

This role requires the ability to decide with QA Manager/Project Manager if the final output should or should not be delivered to the customer.

The successful candidate will have the freedom to improve existing QA practices and guidelines, define new processes and guidelines for QA, and suggest enhancements to improve the end deliverable to the client.
