Accounting Specialist - Indian GAAP and Ind AS

The role involves providing accounting expertise in accordance with Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply knowledge of Indian GAAP and Ind AS to execute engagements, research complex issues, and monitor budgets.
  • Demonstrate expertise in relevant accounting standards, execute Ind AS engagements while researching complex technical issues.
  • Stay updated on new pronouncements relating to Ind AS and demonstrate knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing proposals for new mandates under the guidance of firm leadership.
  • Collaborate with junior resources to ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Travel within India or abroad as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant qualification
  • Experience: 3-8 years of post-qualification experience
  • Skills: Expertise in Indian GAAP and Ind AS, ability to apply relevant accounting standards, and execute Ind AS engagements
