Business Planning Specialist

Job Overview

As a key member of our team, the Business Planning Specialist will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting integrated business planning initiatives. This position requires a highly motivated and experienced professional who can effectively bridge the gap between business users and technical teams.

  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and IT teams to deliver best-in-class supply chain planning solutions using SAP IBP modules.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for demand, supply, inventory, and S&OP planning processes.
  • Configure and support SAP IBP modules (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, Control Tower, Response & Supply).
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and collaborate with the technical team for implementation.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or related fields.
  • 6-10 years of experience in Supply Chain or IT, with at least 3-5 years in SAP IBP.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP IBP Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Inventory Optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (procurement, logistics, manufacturing, sales) to align planning processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP IBP with existing systems.
  • Stay updated on new SAP IBP features/releases and evaluate their fit for business.
  • Support business users post-go-live with issue resolution and continuous improvement.
