Job Description

A subject teacher plays a pivotal role in designing and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating learning experiences that help students develop knowledge, skills, and understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure lesson plans are followed effectively to cater to different aptitudes, learning styles, and interests of students.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with school rules and promote maximum student participation.
  • Create an effective learning environment through functional displays, bulletin boards, and interest centers.
  • Develop positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates on student progress.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Compile, maintain, and ensure confidentiality of school records.
  • Adhere to all policies and actively implement them.
  • Participate in professional development through internal and external courses, seminars, conferences, and events.

Desired Qualification:

  • Graduate & Post Graduate Degree in Geography with B. Ed (mandatory).

Experience:

  • 1-4 years of relevant experience.
