Quality Assurance and Control Specialist

Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance and Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our projects. You will work closely with our project management team to implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of Quality Documents: Prepare method statements, inspection and testing plans, checklists, and policies/procedures in compliance with project requirements.
  2. Implementation of Correct Construction Practices: Ensure that construction practices are implemented correctly as per approved method statements, inspection and testing plans, drawings, specifications, and specified codes.
  3. Continuous Enhancement and Improvement: Continuously enhance and improve product quality by conducting random surveillance audits, investigating products, systems, and services being utilized, and analyzing products and systems.
  4. Traceability Analysis: Conduct traceability analysis to identify areas affected by failures and set up monitoring mechanisms for affected structures.
  5. Mitigation Plans: Advise project managers/directors/heads on mitigation plans in case of test failures.
  6. Quality Reporting: Ensure monthly quality reports are prepared, reviewed, and submitted to concerned parties.
  7. Regular Meetings: Conduct weekly meetings with contractors and CM teams to review construction quality status and highlight areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of quality control principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
