Job Description

We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to lead our Indian Languages Cluster. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regional news and general news segments, with expertise in digital marketing channels and brand building.

The role spans across broadcast and digital viewership, requiring the ability to develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives.

  • Lead strategic marketing initiatives to drive growth, brand visibility, and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with editorial, sales, and product teams to ensure cohesive marketing execution.
  • Develop and execute brand campaigns that uphold our brand voice and amplify our position as a regional leader.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Drive impactful brand positioning efforts to establish our channel as a trusted and relatable brand in regional news segment.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to advance business goals.

Brand Building and Reputation Management

  • Oversee PR, corporate communications, and media relations to maintain a positive brand presence.
  • Identify strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and events that extend brand exposure.

Customer Insights and Market Intelligence

  • Lead ongoing market and competitive research to identify emerging trends and user behaviour shifts.
  • Leverage customer insights and analytics to tailor marketing strategies.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Establish and manage budgets for the marketing department.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • MBA or equivalent degree with 5-8 years of experience in marketing roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in brand building and marketing strategy.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a strategic mindset.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and data analytics.
