Senior Data Engineer Position Overview

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead our data engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing robust and efficient data processing pipelines, ensuring timely completion and availability of data in the data warehouse.

  • Develop a high-performance data processing pipeline to extract, transform and load data from various systems to the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Design, develop and maintain ETL workflows and mappings using the appropriate data load technique.
  • Provide research, high-level design, and estimates for data transformation and data integration from source applications to end-user BI solutions.

The Senior Data Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements and deliver solutions that meet those needs.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing concepts, strategies, and tools.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or data integration projects.
  • Expertise in data warehousing concepts, strategies, and tools.
  • Strong SQL background and knowledge of relational databases.
  • Experience in cloud-based technologies such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business processes.
  • Design and implement Dimensional and Fact tables.
  • Identify and implement data transformation/cleansing requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve problems and provide technical assistance as necessary.
