About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking an experienced data transformation expert to design, develop, and optimize processes using Snowflake.
  • The successful candidate will utilize SQL scripting to implement complex queries and data transformations.
  • This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, testing, and deploying data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.
  • A strong background in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub, is essential.
  • The Data Warehouse Engineer must ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data processes and workflows is a key responsibility.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices is required.
  • Lead or participate in data migration projects, ensuring seamless data transfer and integration.
  • Utilize Jira or similar agile systems to manage tasks and collaborate with teams.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Snowflake and data transformation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Familiarity with other data integration tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes, preferably using GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar agile systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in data migration projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
