Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive product designs, considering factors such as functionality, safety, and aesthetics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other product elements
  • Create detailed prototypes for testing and evaluation
  • Analyse data, identify areas for improvement, and implement modifications as needed
  • Evaluate product performance, reliability, and safety throughout its lifecycle
  • Estimate project budgets and scope, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution
  • Communicate technical information effectively to stakeholders, including operators and customers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably with a strong background in design and development
  • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) tools, such as AutoCAD or ProE
  • Hands-on experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
  • Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools, including ANSYS or similar software
  • Mastery of mathematical computing and analysis tools, such as Matlab or Excel
  • Strong understanding of core concepts in mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, and materials science
  • Creativity, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • BSc degree in Engineering or related field

Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
