Job Title : StashFin Anti-Fraud Lead

We are seeking an experienced Anti-Fraud Lead to join our team at StashFin. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing robust anti-fraud strategies to safeguard our digital payments ecosystem, including UPI and other payment channels.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Fraud Detection and Prevention: Develop, implement, and enhance fraud detection systems, policies, and procedures to proactively identify and mitigate fraud risks in UPI and other digital payment channels.
  2. Risk Analysis and Investigation: Conduct in-depth analysis of fraud trends, investigate suspected fraud cases, and work closely with cross-functional teams to reduce fraud exposure.
  3. Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics tools to detect fraud patterns, assess risk, and establish real-time monitoring systems. Generate insights from data to drive continuous improvements in fraud prevention strategies.
  4. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of fraud analysts, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring effective allocation of resources for monitoring and investigation.
  5. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with product, compliance, technology, and customer support teams to align fraud management practices with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  6. Reporting and Compliance: Prepare detailed reports on fraud incidents and trends for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines in the digital payments ecosystem.
  7. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance operational efficiency and adapt to emerging fraud risks.

**Estimated Salary:** ₹12 Lakhs - ₹18 Lakhs per annum (depending on experience)

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Domain Expertise: In-depth understanding of digital payments, UPI transaction flows, and associated fraud mechanisms.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with fraud detection tools, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics platforms.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to fraud and risk management in digital payments.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams and present fraud-related findings and solutions to senior management.
  • Attention to Detail: Acute attention to detail in analysing fraud patterns and investigating suspicious activities.
  • Adaptability and Agility: Ability to quickly respond to emerging fraud risks and adapt strategies to a dynamic digital payments ecosystem.

**Education:** Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
