About the WFS Data Analyst Position


We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Workforce Intelligence team at Amazon. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving data-driven insights to inform our hourly staffing initiatives and optimize our workforce strategies.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Retrieve and analyze complex data sets using various data management and Business Intelligence systems.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, and dashboards to provide visibility into system performance.
  • Provide analytical support to important initiatives to drive decisions and prioritize efforts.
  • Build queries and analyze data to identify trends, root cause issues, and opportunities for system and process improvement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 3+ years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Amazon Projects, Word, Slack, and Chime.
  • Experience with HR processes and systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience working with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information with strict confidentiality standards.

About the Data Analyst Role


The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets and providing actionable insights to inform our hourly staffing initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
