Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Engineer to join our Commercial Data team in Advertising. The purpose of this role is to develop leading property and market data insights to power Real Commercial products.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy being hands-on tackling technical challenges, and lead teams to deliver innovative solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the globe, leading the design, development, and optimization of features to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences.

This is a unique role that will focus on delivering thought leadership in advertising technologies, designing innovative solutions, and helping teams leverage this to produce world-class advertising products.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills:
    • Well-versed in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines
    • Experience with Data modeling
    • Experience with Data pipelines
    • Experience with Data consumption
    • Experience with Data analysis and documentation
    • Experience with Data warehousing
    • Advanced skills in designing solutions that scale and perform for millions of users.
    • Advanced skills in developing long-term system architecture strategies.
    • Experience with modern software development techniques (e.g. functional programming, microservice architecture, test-driven development and CI/CD)
  • Soft Skills:
    • Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders
    • Able to understand business, customer and consumer needs to provide appropriate data solutions
    • Able to mentor other engineers in a collaborative agile team environment
