About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. As a key member of our BMS/BAS Solutions team, you will be responsible for developing operational tooling to support project implementation and building onboarding activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational tooling to support project implementation and building onboarding activities.
  • Perform discovery, scanning, and provisioning as part of project implementation to onboard buildings to JLLT Smart Building Platform.
  • Participate in developing technical assessments of 3rd Party BMS/BAS systems and open/proprietary protocols.
  • Work closely with project implementation and project engineering teams to provide consultancy on various RFPs.
  • Participate in assessing and analyzing L3 issues meeting SLA requirements and collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve L3 issues.
  • Develop test cases, scripts, and test harnesses to perform and automate various QA tasks.
  • Conduct network traffic analysis for troubleshooting end-to-end performance and connectivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering and/or development experience related to BMS/BAS solutions.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Python and scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with building/industrial/IoT automation development.
  • Extensive experience working with MQTT, AWS Cloud, Log and Network Analysis, SSH.
  • Strong experience with BMS/BAS protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, OPC, Niagara, Trend.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, detail-oriented, and excellent critical thinker.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and break them down, delivery and outcome-oriented.
