About the Role

This position is open to highly skilled individuals who can design, code, test and document software solutions for projects and programs associated with technology domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python, Spark (Apache Spark or Pyspark), big query (gcp) and UNIX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to large-scale planning of strategies and moderately complex initiatives within technical domain environments
  • Design, code, test, debug and document software solutions for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python, Spark (Apache Spark or Pyspark), big query (gcp), and UNIX experience Software Enterprise Application development and uses continuous integration and delivery when developing code
  • Experience of Banking/Financial technology domain will be preferred
