Job Title

We seek a seasoned Taxation Lead to spearhead Financial Services client returns preparation and review.

  • Preparation and thorough review of complex client returns, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Fund of Funds.
  • In-depth review of State returns for financial services clients.
  • Identification of international filing requirements through org chart study and review of international tax returns.
  • Training staff on taxation concepts, technology, and providing timely feedback on each project reviewed.
  • Scheduling kick-off calls to understand clients, regular connects with US counterparts, and intervening in conflicts.
  • Guiding staff on potential tax adjustments due to tax law changes and e-filing validations.
  • Recruitment, training, performance evaluation, mentoring team members, consistent connects with US counterparts, high-quality work through consistent learning, and enabling the team to achieve organizational goals.
Requirements:
  • Ability to conduct independent tax research in unseen scenarios.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to learn new tax software.
  • Quick learner, positive demeanor, and team player.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work based on project urgency.
  • Effective multi-tasking and handling various projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in detail review of tax returns.
  • Knowledge of CCh Axcess Tax, Gofile room, Case ware.
  • Relevant experience more than 5+ years with major experience into Financial Services Returns.
