Fixed Wireless TAC Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Fixed Wireless TAC Engineer to join our team. A TAC engineer is responsible for ensuring a positive experience with fixed wireless broadband point-to-multipoint and point-to-point deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Address customer issues and identify areas for improvement by analyzing network performance data and communicating effectively with customers.
  • Provide guidance and support to customers via phone call, remote session, email, and chat support to resolve technical queries and troubleshoot network-related problems.
  • Utilize network monitoring tools and protocols to diagnose and troubleshoot complex network issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical skills in outdoor PMP and PTP licensed and unlicensed fixed wireless access systems, including knowledge of RF fundamentals, frequency capability, channel bandwidth, modulation schemes, transmission methods, microwave propagation, and link budget planning.
  • Experience in designing and configuring outdoor fixed wireless networks that meet customer business requirements and industry best practices, leveraging expertise in wireless security protocols and best practices, including authentication, encryption, and access control.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues and solutions to non-technical customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-8 years of experience in outdoor fixed wireless technologies covering licensed and unlicensed PMP/PTP, 4G/5G RAN, and related telecom technologies.
  • Knowledge of L2/L3 switching and routing systems and technologies, including understanding of TCP windowing/handshake, UDP, VoIP/SIP, and other packet protocols.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP (routing and switching) and CWNE are preferred but not required.
