Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Leader to join our organization. This role will oversee the day-to-day financial management, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior leadership.
  • Monitor cash flow, investments, and forecast future needs.
  • Develop and implement budgeting processes and support cross-functional departmental planning.

Accounting & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant tax regulations.
  • Timely file all necessary tax returns, including GST and income tax.
  • Handle audits, assessments, and notices from regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.

Strategic Support

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders on financial planning and risk management.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
