Global Payroll Specialist

Role Overview:

As part of our Global HR team, you will play a key role in shaping our payroll operations. This includes preparing and processing payroll checks, reconciling data, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

  • Support with payroll procedures including preparation, documentation, and disbursement of all payroll checks, payroll taxes, and employee benefit payments.
  • Perform reconciliation and validation of data according to predefined payroll processing procedures and standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely compliance payments to statutory authorities like EPFO, Professional taxes, income tax, etc.
  • Validate payroll outputs, bank files, payroll journals, etc.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to resolve payroll issues and improve processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams like Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Legal teams to formulate policies and procedures.
  • Resolve difficult payroll issues that have been called out or are difficult to interpret.
  • Handle exit administration such as resignation, retirement, redundancy, etc.
  • Coordinate third-party administration processing including vendor invoicing and coordination with Finance for payment.
  • Provide operational support and inputs to local country Centre of Excellence (CoE).
  • Communicate updates on payroll and local statutory matters to employees and relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Business Continuity Plan (BCP) reviews, updates, and testing to ensure readiness.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance for internal controls and audits.
  • Monitor governmental reporting and compliance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance process efficiency.
  • Assess Quality framework effectiveness to ensure Quality Assurance, Quality Audit, Quality improvement, and Knowledge management initiatives are running effectively.
Essential Education:

A university degree or professional qualification in human resources management or its equivalent.

Minimum Requirements:

8-10 years of experience handling employment law, statutory, and effective HR practices.
