About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in building and maintaining highly available and scalable production systems. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless delivery of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to design, build, and deploy highly available and scalable production systems.
- Develop and maintain efficient automation scripts using Terraform and Python.
- Manage core production systems, including frequent changes and updates.
- Rapidly identify and resolve problems in production systems.
- Provide support during off hours (nights and weekends) when necessary.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of DevOps experience in a SaaS production environment.
- Experience configuring Microsoft Azure and/or similar cloud-based platforms.
- Experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes, including deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with managing Helm charts for packaging, deploying, and managing Kubernetes applications.
- Working knowledge of monitoring, logging, and metrics collection tools in high-scale production environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and ArgoCD.
- Programming experience with Python and Bash.
- Experience with events streaming technologies like Kafka, Spark, and Databricks.
- Knowledge of storage and data lake principles.
- Hands-on experience with managing and configuring MySQL and PostgreSQL databases in high-availability environments.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Databricks - In-depth knowledge of Databricks, including setting up clusters, configuring jobs, and optimizing performance.
- Experience with SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Hana Cloud Data Lake, Cloud Logging.
- Hands-on experience with Istio service mesh, Kyverno.
- Experience K8s Prometheus monitoring stack and Dynatrace.
