About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Specialist to join our team at Alignity Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights into business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dashboard Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights into business performance.
    • Ensure that all reports are user-friendly, visually appealing, and effectively communicate key metrics.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with business users, data analysts, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
    • Provide training and support to end-users on how to utilize Power BI effectively.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Continuously monitor and optimize Power BI performance, ensuring efficient data refreshes and report loading times.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Documentation and Best Practices:
    • Maintain documentation related to Power BI solutions, including data sources, model structures, and report specifications.
    • Promote best practices in Power BI report development and data visualization across the organization.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query for data transformation.
  • Experience with SQL and other data retrieval tools to extract and manipulate data.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with other data visualization tools or BI platforms is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in Power BI or data analytics are desirable.
