Job Title: Assistant / Deputy Manager - Pharmacy Operations
JOB PURPOSE:
The role holder will be primarily responsible for the smooth operation of the Pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate internal audits across Units to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct random pre-audits as per checklist prior to internal audit to identify areas of improvement.
- Facilitate the closure of internal audit observations by implementing corrective actions.
- Addition or deletion of pharmacists on the government portal to ensure accurate records.
- Coordinate annual limit for narcotic drugs for Units, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Track EP bounce reports to identify any discrepancies.
- Perform regular planned Unit visits to assess pharmacy operations and provide guidance.
- Review pharmacy PASAT scores for Units to identify areas of improvement.
- Conduct inventory management, including random stock checks, perpetual stock takes, and half-yearly stock takes in collaboration with Finance.
- Update pharmacy manuals to reflect changes in policies and procedures.
- Resolve policy-related queries and standardize procedures.
- Coordinate between liaison office and Units for renewal of drug licenses (Retail, Wholesale, Schedule X, END, FSSAI).
- Track new and renewal licenses and provide support to Units where necessary.
- Verify HIS roles allocated to Units and rectify any issues.
- Engage in miscellaneous activities related to various initiatives and activities within the Pharmacy and Medical Stores department.
Technical Skills:
- Program management: Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent strategic ability and analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Drugs & Cosmetics Act.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pharmacy/Science graduate.
- MBA (preferred).
Experience:
- 10-12 years of experience within the Healthcare/Pharmacy sector.
