Job Title: Senior Principal Engineer – NVH

About the Role:

The Senior Principal Engineer will lead the vehicle NVH development team, overseeing all phases of vehicle-level NVH delivery throughout the development cycle. This involves guiding and tracking vehicle benchmarking initiatives, establishing robust target setting for multiple vehicle programmes, and ensuring excellence in NVH performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the vehicle NVH development team to achieve exceptional NVH performance
  • Guide and track vehicle benchmarking initiatives to establish robust targets
  • Oversee all phases of vehicle-level NVH delivery throughout the development cycle
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to secure NVH deliverables on schedule

Requirements:

For this role, we are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in vehicle NVH engineering. The ideal candidate will possess between 14 to 18 years of comprehensive experience in vehicle NVH development, demonstrating a deep understanding of NVH requirements and solutions across various vehicle architectures.

Grounded knowledge in vehicle NVH simulation techniques is essential, as is proficiency with advanced NVH analysis tools, including test laboratories, Muller BBM systems, and sophisticated techniques such as ASQ, PCA, TPA, and Sound Power measurements.

Qualifications:

The required educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering from reputed institutions. Candidates with an excellent academic record, ideally with a GATE score above 90%, and from premier institutes such as IITs or reputed regional government engineering colleges, will be preferred.

Continuous professional development and certifications in NVH-related domains would be considered advantageous.
