Accounting Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of US accounting and taxation practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals for US-based clients.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial data regularly.
  • Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing reports.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Ensure compliance with US tax regulations, filing deadlines, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist clients with tax planning and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Review and analyze tax notices and correspondence.
  • Support in financial audits and related assessments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with clients and provide regular updates on financial performance and tax obligations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or EA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
  • 0-3 years of experience in US bookkeeping, tax preparation, or financial compliance.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
