At SAP, we're seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Business Partners team, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Account Executives across the APJ region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise Account Executives on pricing, revenue recognition, compliance, and contracting topics, ensuring alignment with SAP guidelines and policies.
  • Analyze customer historical situations, identify potential pitfalls, and communicate timely updates to the sales organization.
  • Proactively engage with various teams to shape and review deals, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Guide colleagues through internal processes, minimizing touchpoints and ensuring efficient deal progression.
  • Advise on pre-approved changes to contractual clauses and participate in customer meetings to match requirements with deal support guidelines.

Deal Approval and Contract Drafting:

  • Guide Account Executives on DoA and approval processes, ensuring timely and accurate approvals.
  • Check and approve CPQ quotations, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure deals are approved in accordance with internal processes and procedures, taking ownership for assigned deals.

Order-to-Invoice Support and Cash Collection:

  • Release contracts for booking and support booking-related clarification requests.
  • Provide second-level support in dispute resolution, customer satisfaction issues, and revenue risks from the Exception Handling Framework.

Requirements:

  • 5-9 years of experience in Commercial Finance.
  • Preferably at least 1 year of experience with Software Licensing or Deal Support.
  • Working experience within a shared service center environment (preferred).
  • Experience with SAP systems is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or Economics is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, team player, and ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems with little direct supervision.
  • Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
