Data Governance Specialist Role

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to support our data management initiatives by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and quality of our enterprise data pipelines across multiple platforms.

This key role will be instrumental in our data team, driving data governance efforts, and enhancing our data architecture to meet business requirements.

  • Serve as the primary steward for assigned data domains, overseeing business and technical aspects.
  • Develop and maintain metadata, business glossary, and data catalog entries in data governance tools like Collibra, Alation, Informatica or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with data owners to enforce data definitions, classifications, and data quality rules, ensuring consistency and integrity across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data quality practices, data management principles, and data governance frameworks to establish trusted data foundations that drive business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting.
