Job Title: Medical Communication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Communication Specialist to develop high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop clear and concise scientific content for various audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Review and edit deliverables from junior writers to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Mentor and train junior writers in best practices and client preferences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and industry trends to maintain excellent product/account knowledge.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Participate in client pitches and business development to drive growth and revenue.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients through excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Develop and execute digital medical communications initiatives to enhance engagement and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Ensure all materials comply with regulatory requirements and SOPs.
Requirements
  • PhD/MD in medicine, life sciences, health sciences, pharmacy, pharmacology or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in scientific writing and reviewing for Medical Affairs or biopharma.
  • Clear and concise scientific writing with strong attention to detail and language skills.
  • Strong ability to interpret, evaluate, and present scientific data clearly and concisely.
  • Good understanding of biostatistics, MS Office, and literature review, with a keen eye for synthesizing complex information.
  • Skilled in developing digital content to enhance scientific publications and support medical communications.
  • Experienced in organizing and contributing to congresses and advisory board meetings.
  • Excellent communicator adept at simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills within cross-functional and matrix teams.
  • Effective leader with experience mentoring and developing junior writers.
  • Highly organized and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
