Business Finance Manager Job Description

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Business Finance Manager to contribute to our business growth and success. This role will focus on providing strategic financial guidance to support operational excellence and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the business, including key categories and organizational functions.
  • Conduct data-driven trend analysis for P&L and revenue metrics, presenting key insights to senior leaders.
  • Manage day-to-day P&L activities, collaborating closely with stakeholders to drive growth and optimization.
  • Establish processes for new initiatives and enhance existing ones, focusing on governance and cost management.
  • Prepare, manage, and publish business scorecards to inform decision-making.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis for various projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • CA/MBA/B.Tech degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong Excel/Google sheet skills and good business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and PowerPoint skills.
  • Previous experience as a business finance partner is desired, experience in a start-up/Retail would be beneficial.
  • A self-starter who can take ownership of deliverables with minimal direction and develop innovative solutions to business problems.
  • Continuous improvement attitude and fast learning ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL is an asset.
