Platform Automation Engineer

We are seeking a talented Platform Automation Engineer to join our team at Mastek. As a key member of our platform engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

This role requires strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration, as well as expertise in Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.

You will also have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and high availability, as well as experience working with API Gateways (Azure API Management, Kong, or similar tools).

A strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure as code (IaC) is essential for this role. Additionally, you should have proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell, as well as experience in CI/CD pipeline development (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

We are looking for a motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a fast-paced environment. If you have certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer), experience with Helm, Terraform, or Ansible for infrastructure automation, or knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack, that's a plus
