Product Security Lead

The role of Product Security Lead involves executing security review processes, managing exceptions, and coordinating with development teams to ensure secure and trustworthy product delivery.

This is a key position in our cybersecurity team where you will oversee end-to-end security sign-off processes across multiple product development streams, coordinate security review workflows, track timelines, and ensure SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all security sign-off processes for various product development streams.
  • Coordinate the entire security review workflow process including tracking timelines and ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Lead the exception management program for security-related matters, including intake, assessment coordination, and approval tracking.
  • Facilitate cross-functional security meetings and stakeholder communications.
  • Develop and maintain key metrics, dashboards, and executive reports related to the security program.
  • Oversee the documentation of the company's risk posture and communicate relevant information to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate processes related to AI governance for generative AI implementations to ensure proper review workflows.
  • Drive process improvements and automation opportunities within security operations, focusing on leveraging GenAI and agentic AI.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive security documentation, standards, and operating procedures.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 4-8 years of experience in program/project coordination, preferably in a security or risk domain.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with security review processes and exception management.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and risk management principles.
  • Understanding of AI/ML project lifecycles and governance considerations.
  • Effective communication skills to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Proficiency in tracking tools, documentation systems, and process management.
  • Security-related certifications or training like Security+ (CompTIA), CISSP Associate, or AI/ML Security.
  • Experience working in financial services or regulated industries.
  • Background in security operations or product development support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience incorporating agentic AI solutions into internal business processes, preferably on AWS Bedrock.
