Job Title: Data Analyst

This is a challenging role that involves designing, developing and implementing machine learning models to solve complex business problems.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Python programming and experience with SQL database management. They should also be familiar with libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, matplotlib and seaborn for data analysis and visualization.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate should be able to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We are looking for a team player who can collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data engineers and analysts.

  • Create and implement machine learning models using Python and relevant libraries.
  • Analyze and process large datasets using SQL and Python programming.
  • Evaluate model performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop reusable code and libraries for data science applications.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Python programming for data science and machine learning.
  • Strong command of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms like Linear/Logistic Regression, Random Forests, Decision Trees, SVM, KNN etc.
  • Experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, seaborn.
  • Experience in model evaluation and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and exploratory data analysis (EDA).

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to time-series forecasting and anomaly detection.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices or frameworks.
  • Exposure to business domains such as finance, retail or supply chain.
