Senior Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing large-scale data architectures using Google Cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data pipelines using Google Cloud services such as Big Query, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into various applications and systems.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Google Cloud storage.
  • Work closely with data scientists to design and implement data models that support business insights and decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing robust data validation and governance processes.
  • Maintain and improve the overall performance, scalability, and reliability of our data infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of SQL development experience.
  • 7+ years of analytics/data product development experience required.
  • 4+ years of Google cloud experience with solutions designed and implemented at production scale.
  • Experience working in GCP native (or equivalent) services like Big Query, Google Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, etc.
  • 3+ Experience working with Airflow for scheduling and orchestration of data pipelines.
  • 2+ Experience working with Terraform to provision Infrastructure as Code.
  • 3 + years professional development experience in Python.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree.
