Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop AI-powered products leveraging large language models and recent advancements in foundation models.
  • Develop high-performance search and retrieval systems, including data indexing, ranking, and query processing.
  • Establish evaluation frameworks for agent, retrieval augmented generation, and large language model performance using open-source models.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software engineering or end-to-end data science with expertise in Python and data-oriented algorithms.
  • A strong background in distributed data systems or machine learning engineering with experience in distributed computing frameworks like Ray.
  • The ability to experiment with new techniques and deliver robust production code using technologies like Python, LlamaIndex, LangChain, Ray, Postgres, Iceberg, Google Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes/Helm.
  • Demonstrated experience in building agents, training emerging foundation large language models, constructing retrieval augmented generation systems, and planet-scale information retrieval systems, or working with vector databases.
