Senior Research Analyst Job Description

As a senior research analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data across various platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up and maintaining entities for alternative investments, managing comprehensive reference data, and performing data cleanup and maintenance activities within the Diligent platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain accurate entity information for alternative investments.
  • Manage and reconcile data between multiple platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform ongoing data cleanup and maintenance activities within the Diligent platform as needed.
  • Support larger-scale data cleanup initiatives in Diligent as directed by enablement stories.
Data Integrity & Reconciliation:
  • Regularly reconcile and validate data between all platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Continuously monitor and maintain data integrity across systems.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Implement quality control measures to prevent data inconsistencies.
Fund Operations & Structure Management:
  • Set up alternate investment fund structures for our book of business.
  • Organize and maintain legal entity documentation for alternative investments.
  • Support fund lifecycle management from inception through wind-down.
Process Improvement & Documentation:
  • Develop and maintain workflow diagrams and process documentation for legal entities.
  • Lead reengineering initiatives, starting with alternate investments and expanding to other operations.
  • Create and update standard operating procedures for entity management processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on complex entity management issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fund administration, legal entity management, or financial services operations.
  • Experience with alternative investment structures (private equity, hedge funds, real estate, etc.).
