Job Overview:

We seek a skilled Financial Accountant with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong financial accounting principles, a proven track record in financial statement preparation, month-end closing, and compliance.

The successful candidate will lead the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. They will manage the entire month-end book closure process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Month-End Closure: Manage the month-end book closure process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • GST Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns. Stay updated on changes in GST laws and regulations.
  • Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure integrity of financial data.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, schedules, and explanations.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial reports and MIS for management, highlighting key trends and providing insightful analysis.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant accounting or finance role.
  • Proven expertise in financial statement preparation, month-end closing, and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with GST compliances and return filings.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
