We are looking for a Freelance Data Scientist with expertise in SQL, Python, and healthcare claims/provider data to uncover insights, build predictive models, and support data-driven decision-making in the healthcare space.
- Extract, clean, and analyze large-scale claims and provider datasets using advanced SQL skills.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL scripts for data extraction and transformation.
- Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques (Python – Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and ensure data accuracy.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in healthcare data to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Build and deploy scalable data pipelines using SQL and ETL tools.
- Develop and implement predictive models using machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
- Analyze and visualize complex healthcare data to inform business decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve data analysis and modeling capabilities.
