Job Title: Tax Application Analyst

This is a customer-facing position that provides tax support to customers working on their tax returns with tax/technical questions, calculations regarding tax software-related queries.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide advanced phone, email, and chat support for all tax products, including the most complex issues. They will identify, resolve, and manage customer escalations with minimal assistance from leadership and document these interactions in the customer relationship database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced phone, email, and chat support for all tax products
  • Identify, resolve, and manage customer escalations
  • Maintain, expand, and share knowledge of Corporate Professional and Support Services
  • Identify and document resolutions to recurring inquiries
  • Mentor existing staff and monitor open tickets of assigned Product Support Representatives (PSRs)
  • Interact with customers utilizing strong written and verbal skills, as well as deep customer empathy
  • Secure and keep confidential product and customer data
  • Participate in product testing and review as required
  • Cross-train on other CCH products and systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • 2+ years of work experience as a tax, accounting product/customer support representative at a software company
  • Experience working with CCH tax and accounting software
  • Tax preparation or public accounting experience
  • Establishing and managing business relationships with third-party providers, internal resources, and customers
