Job Title: Data Analyst and Business Insights Specialist

The Role

  • We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to partner with various teams to deliver data solutions that drive business growth.
  • Perform statistical modelling, aggregation, and processing to enable relevant insights from available data sets.
  • Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using various tools and techniques.
  • Identify innovative ideas and deliver proof of concepts to meet existing and future needs.
  • Integrate new data assets to increase the value proposition for customers and enhance existing solutions.
  • Analyze large volumes of transaction and product data to generate insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Capture and synthesize feedback from clients, development, product, and sales teams for new solutions or enhancements.
  • Apply knowledge of metrics, measurements, and benchmarking to demanding solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field from a reputable institution with 2-5 years of overall experience.
  • Proficiency in one of the programming languages (Java, Scala, or Python) and knowledge of data mining, machine learning algorithms, and tools.
  • Data modeling, programming, querying, data mining, and report development using large volumes of granular data.
  • Strong interest in current affairs and news media.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (presentations, publishing papers, blogs).
  • Self-starter with passion for solving problems.
  • High energy level; flexible, adaptive, and strong collaborator.
  • Well-planned, organized, and structured to manage time and work effectively.
