We are seeking a skilled Placement Director to lead our student placement initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee all activities related to student placement, ensuring that students receive the best possible opportunities for their future careers.

• Coordinate with industries to provide vocational training courses to students.
• Arrange on-campus and off-campus interviews with meritorious students and industry representatives.
• Run background checks on students seeking internships or externships to verify their qualifications.
• Develop a Placement Preparation Module to guide students in campus placement preparation.
• Review student performance in the Corporate Sector through feedback from companies.
• Organize workshops and seminars for managers and faculty members of various organizations.
• Arrange training programs for soft skills and interview-facing skills for students.
• Prepare Placement reports after Placement Drives/Job Fairs.
• Enhance collaborations with industries and associations for placement drives and Mega Job Fairs/Career Fairs.
• Conduct regular meetings with college-level TPOs to understand placement requirements.
• Develop a Management Information System (MIS) on placement of passed-out students and create a database of recruiting industries and organizations.

As a Placement Director, you will work closely with faculty members, department heads, and administration to integrate career planning with academic curriculum. Your role will involve providing resources and activities to facilitate the career-planning process, acting as an interface among students, alumni, and the employment community, and creating awareness about future career options. Conducting regular student assessments is also an essential part of this role.
