
Solar Project Sales Leader

As the renewable energy market continues to grow, companies are looking for experienced professionals to lead their solar project sales efforts. Solar Project Sales Lead is a challenging role that requires strong communication skills, a passion for renewable energy, and experience in sales and project management.
About this role: We are seeking an experienced professional to develop and execute the sales strategy for solar projects, conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for solar projects, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the solar energy market, providing insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring timely delivery of projects and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution, tracking progress and ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions, providing regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, solar technology, and government policies regarding renewable energy, attending industry events and conferences to expand professional knowledge.
Requirements:
- Education: Any graduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Total experience of 10+ years & minimum 5+ years relevant experience in solar / renewable energy sector in project sales.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of solar energy products, systems, and solutions, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, proficient in MS Office, CRM software, and sales reporting tools, ability to analyse technical data and convey it clearly to clients, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
